We have a beautiful 7 yr old contemporary home with a soaring glass front on Great East Lake in Wakefield, NH. Beach, dock and 2 person kayak included. This 2200 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, open concept home has a large deck overlooking the lake, and another deck at the waterfront. We sit high on the hill overlooking the lake. A Toyota Camry can be part of the exchange. Wakefield is a quaint small New England town about 20 miles north of Rochester on Route 16. There are many antique shops and historic homes in the area, and a golf course in town. It is within an hours drive to skiing. The scenic White Mountains and NH & ME ocean beaches and historic Portsmouth are a 45 minute drive. We are about 1 & 1/2 hours to the Manchester airport, and 2 hours to Boston.The fall folliage in this area is spectacular. The sparkling clear 1700 acre lake provides great swimming, boating and fishing. We are close to major ski areas, and the winter environment offers ice fishing, cross-country skiing, and skating from the back door. We are open to short term offers in spring and fall, and are looking for 2-3 months exchange in Hawaii in the winter. We are a retired professional couple, non-smokers, with no pets, but we would be glad to look after your pets. We like our home neat and clean, and would expect the same in an exchange. We love an active outdoor lifestyle. |
