We live on a Gulf Island with a population of 1100, off the coast of Vancouver Island. The 10 min.ferry trip is hourly. Our ocean-view cedar home is 13 years old, has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, deck, fenced yard, BBQ, modern kitchen and is within walking distance of the ocean. Denman Is. is minutes from Hornby Is. (with sand beaches) and 4 hours from Pacific Rim Natl. Park, a rainforest on the open Pacific. Activities in the region: kayaking, canoeing, sports fishing, diving, winter/spring skiing, tennis, golf, whale watching. Our SUV and new tent trailer could be part of an exchange. We are experienced exchangers and are interested in travelling to other islands, especially in the South Pacific, Caribbean, Scotland, Ireland. We're open to suggestions! Our last trip was to Auckland, the Cook Islands and New Caledonia in April/June 2003 and we're especially interested in return visits to those places.We're interested in both exchanging houses and in offering hospitality. |
