We are a retired couple, non-smoking, living in Victoria, BC, Vancouver Island, Canada. You will enjoy this pretty city with it’s streets lined with hanging flower baskets, and the spectacular west coast scenery. Victoria was recently featured in Condé Nast Magazine as the winner of the 2003 Reader’s Choice Awards for the Best City in the Americas, and was also voted one of the Top 10 Vacation Destinations in the World. Vancouver Island was voted the Best Temperate Island in the Americas, and one of the Best Temperate Islands in the World. Our home is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Condominium (Apartment), built in 1998. There is a utility room with washer and dryer, secure entry, and underground parking. Spend sunny mornings on the Gorge Inlet. The Galloping Goose Trestle stretches along the Gorge for a scenic 20 min walk to downtown Victoria. This area is always bustling with kayakers, cyclists and joggers. Directly across the trestle bike rentals are available, if you would like to cruise around town. At the end of the day relax in the condo around the fireplace or enjoy the warmth of a hot bath and heated ensuite floor tiles. There are several daily ferries to Vancouver, BC and Whistler. We are open to any exchanges. Simultaneous exchanges not necessary.
