Our new modern condo home has 2 bedrooms;master bedroom with 2 double beds, cathedral ceiling and large bathroom with a jacuzzi. Upstairs has a large bedroom with a double bed, a loft sitting room with TV. There is also a computer room which contains a Queensize pull-out sofabed and a bathroom with a shower. The living room and dining room on the first floor has a cathedral ceiling, fireplace, a sunny, large kitchen with eating area, all modern appliances and a sliding door out to a deck where we have most of our meals in the spring, summer, and autumn.(Gasgrill for barbequeing.) The house is centrally airconditioned. There is a pool on the property belonging to the Hampton Meadows condo association with a tennis court next to it. In other words a "private" pool. Hampton is an active seasonal vacation area with lots of outdoor events; concerts, summer-theater, many beaches nearby. Golf, whale-watching, fishing trips, and harbor cruises,boat-trips to the nearby famous Isles of Shoals. The NH mountains are within a couple of hours drive. Boston, MA is 45 miles south from Hampton. Portsmouth,10 miles north of us, is a quaint harbor-front town with many cultural events as well as Portland, ME 65 miles to the north. Restaurants galore up and down the seacoast.
We are a retired couple, Willis an American and Kerstin, Swedish. We would like to exchange our house for a 3 bedroom house, or larger since Kerstin's sister and brother plan to meet us "somewhere" in Europe. (Northern Italy, Norhtern Europe.) |
