Our home is within walking distance of the major tourist attractions in a lovely, desirable, safe area of character homes with tree-lined boulevards and year-round beautiful gardens. Cook Street Village, a trendy neighbourhood strip of outdoor cafes, pubs, and local shops is steps away, as is the ocean walk along the cliffs at Dallas Road, with many benches to stop and rest while enjoying the paragliders and sailboats, or gazing for signs of sea lions or orca whales. Walk in the other direction and you'll find Craigdarroch Castle and the lovely Abkhazi Gardens as well as the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. A 10 min. walk will take you downtown to the inner harbour with the buskers and the harbour ferries, the Empress Hotel with its famous High Tea, the B.C. Museum and all of the other tourist attractions, hotels restaurants and shops. The house is a newly renovated 3-bedroom bungalow, with modern appliances, stained oak and fir floors, log-burning fireplace, seated on a large, private, landscaped garden. It is set up comfortably for the two of us, with study, den and master bedroom with comfy king-size bed.

We are seeking an exchange for the fall/winter of 2006/07 in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and western Texas.

We are also always available for an exchange to Europe, since we love Portugal and Italy, and we could visit with our son and daughter-in-law in Stockholm, Sweden. We would also be interested in exchanges to South Africa, Jerusalem Australia, and New Zealand. In the large cities, we prefer homes in the heart of the city with easy access to museums, theatre, shopping etc.
