Our home, located in the picturesque Town of Qualicum Beach, is a modern 2,000 square foot ranch style bungalow, with a spacious living room, large fully equipped kitchen adjoined by a bright dining area, large master bedroom (king-sized bed) with complete en-suite bathroom including a Jacuzzi tub, and a second bedroom with two single beds and adjoining bathroom. There is also a cozy family room with gas fireplace for relaxing and watching TV. A large cedar deck, complete with gas barbecue, overlooks a delightful wooded area where we frequently see deer browsing. We are non-smokers, and do not have pets. We have a new Mazda3 and a Ford Escort available for car exchange. Qualicum Beach is a pleasant town of 7,000 with a village atmosphere, located in one of Canada’s most popular resort/retirement areas. It’s on the eastern shore of Vancouver Island, facing the Strait of Georgia, about 100 miles north of the provincial capital city of Victoria, and 20 mile from Nanaimo, the nearest city. Our town, and the general area nearby, has all the amenities and activities one would expect in a popular resort area. Of particular interest are 6 beautiful golf courses (one within 5 minutes of our place), and nearby sandy beaches.
