I am interested in a home-exchange arrangement with someone living near Ashland or, possibly, Bend in Oregon. I am keeping this inquiry short until I find out if you are interested in where we live and when we would like to make the exchange. We live about 10 miles from the central plaza of Santa Fe, New Mexico. We live in a forested area on 7 acres of land in a traditional two-story adobe house with 3 bedrooms, 2 ½ baths and the usual furniture and appliances.
As you probably know, Santa Fe is the cultural capital of the Southwest with a wide assortment of Museums, Galleries, as well as Opera, Plays, and other assorted events. We have hiking, horseback riding, swimming, sailing, and other water sports. At 8000 ft altitude, we have marvelous weather and unlimited vistas of the nearby mountains. The sky is breathtaking.
We are interested in a swap of two weeks or so, sometime in the spring-summer period of 2005. We are happy to accept pets and children of any age. We have cars with 4-wheel drive to exchange.
