Sunridge is a private estate of 21 individual houses, built on a North facing hillside with marvellous views across the Bay of Plenty and green pastures to downtown Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and the Pacific Ocean. Sunridge has its own thermal swimming pool, cleaned and refilled 3 times a week with no use of chemicals as well as a full size tenniscourt.
My home is a 2storied house with a lift. The top floor consists of a self-contained apartment:living/dining/kitchen, double bedroom and en suite bathroom and separate toilet.On the floor below there are two bedrooms, one double, one single plus bathroom and separate toilet.Large lounge (with a Steinway Grand)and adjoining kitchen plus entrance hall are on the ground floor. A cosy den with sliding doors to the garden (single bed)completes the interior. There is also a large, double garage with laundry, freezer etc.and the house is surrounded by a colourful garden. Security gates ensure safety. Neighbours are very friendly and the whole estate is one of peace and tranquility.
I am an elderly widow with family spread maround the globe. I travel to Europe most years during the Northern Summer. As a rule I stay with daughters in England and Denmark; but in 2006 it is my hope to find somewhere, preferably at a Danish seaside where I can invite my sister, ma girlfriend or my family to share some days with me; so somewhere that could accommodate 3 people. I am very flexible as far as dates go. Anytime from mid-June to end of September, possibly for about 4 weeks.
In exchange I am offering the use of my home, - or if that is too big, the top apartment (for 2 people), anytime in the Southern Summer 2006-2007. I would also consider having 1 or 2 people staying as my paying guests. |
