I have a three bedroom, two bathroom detached house in a quiet road on the northern fringe of Worthing just two miles from the centre of town. We are just 55 miles south of London right on the sea with good road links and a frequent rail and bus connection to London. Worthing is a bustling seaside town well known for its theatres, bars, restaurants and attractions.Within a day’s drive are many historic sites, castles, homes, museums and quaint country pubs. You can be in France within three hours by road and short day trips through the Tunnel are inexpensive. The well-known city of Brighton and Hove, with all it's internationally-regarded nightlife, is only ten miles to the east of us I am open to any offers, both as to time of year and location, for exchanges. Previously we have exchanged with people from USA - six times, Australia - twice, New Zealand, Spain, Denmark and Holland. Our last exchange in May 2009 was to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but would like to revisit the New England area or upper state New York. Cape Town is also a place I would love to see. So if you live in these locations and would like to see something of England please contact me. I am retired so am not limited as to time of year for an exchange. Normally there were two of us, but just recently Bill passed away and I would invite two very good friends who have joined us in the past. So it would be an advantage if the exchange property can accommodate three adults. No children will be involved - one of the reasons for making an exchange is to have a break from the grandchildren!
