Our home is an old but comfortable country cottage. The centre part of the house pre-dates Columbus. The garden is about half an acre and is overlooked by a glass sun room (which in England is called a conservatory). The kitchen is very homely while the dining room and living rooms are full of character. Three of the bedrooms are doubles - one queen, one with a European size double bed, ie, 4'6" wide and one with two single beds. Farnham is 5 minutes and Guildford, with more shops, is 20 minutes drive. Farnham has good food shopping, restaurants and a variety of other small shops. There is a first class golf course 5 minutes away and lots of other courses within easy reach.
We are 5 minutes away from Farnham Station from which the centre of London is less than an hour away. London Heathrow and Gatwick Airports are 30 and 50 minutes away.
We are non-smokers but would be happy for people to smoke in our sun room
We are retired and in our late 60s and are looking, initially, for a 3-4 weeks exchange in the USA, Europe or SE Asia but would be interested in offers elsewhere. We are able to offer a car exchange as well.
