Our recently built 2 storey, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached house is quietly situated in a small, friendly, rural village 5 miles north of the “fair city” of Perth and within sight of Macbeth’s hill fort at Dunsinnan. (Shakespeare’s Dunsinane). Local amenities, (shop, garage, church, bus stop and pub) are all within a 5 minute walk. The house has all mod. cons. including central heating, modern kitchen, sun room, satellite TV, free broadband internet access and a piano. One of the bedrooms and a bathroom are on the ground floor making it suitable for the less agile. We have golf clubs, bikes and fishing rods for your use if you wish. Perthshire is very scenic and rich in history (see www.perthshire.co.uk ) and is rightly known as the “Heart of Scotland”. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and St Andrews are approximately one hour’s drive, while Inverness and the Western Highlands are both approximately 2 hours away. Perth and nearby Dundee have a wide range of shopping and cultural amenities. There are good bus and train services although a car exchange (Audi 1.8) would also be available. I (Roger) am a retired Army Officer so my wife (Pamela)and I have travelled fairly extensively and have enjoyed six wonderful and very successful swaps since joining the club. We are in our early 60’s, non-smokers and do not have pets. We are open to all offers but are particularly interested in long term exchanges as we like time to experience the lifestyle in our host location. Somewhere warm would be nice! If you are interested in the ideal location for exploring Bonny Scotland please get in touch. Exchange arranged for summer 2010, thank you and open to offers for other dates!
