I have a home overlooking the water of Mahone Bay in one of the scenic, tourist spots in Nova Scotia. The view is fabulous and the house is filled with light. The house is situated on a short, dead-end road that gives privacy yet is five minutes from the town of Mahone Bay, twenty minutes from the larger town of Bridgewater, twenty minutes from the world heritage town of Lunenburg and one hour from Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia. The area can fulfill varied needs. Natural beauty such as scenic views, hiking trails, beaches, and a variety of boating experiences( kayaking to deep sea fishing to sailing excursions)are readily accessible. However if cultural interests are a desired part of your experience, the towns of Mahone Bay, Chester and Lunenburg offer many quality music experiences as well as live Theater, and for even more variety, Halifax is only an hour away. During the late spring, summer and fall months, many local festivals are waiting to be experienced and enjoyed.
