A drive from Edmonton to Victoria through the Rockies is not to be missed. A typical exchange would be arriving in Edmonton, spending a couple of weeks here, then driving leisurely through the Rockies to Vancouver where you would board a Ferry for a 90 minute ride across the Georgian Strait to Victoria. There you would spend a week or more as time permits before leaving from Vancouver International where you would board your return flight. The best of Western Canada in one exchange! We are in our late 60's and are early retirees from Government Service. We are non smokers and have no pets. We have had 6 sucessful exchanges so far. We prefer not to exchange cars mainly due to the fact that we drive a lot on the exchanges and usually return from a different airport so it has been more convenient to rent automobiles.
