Hi, we are semi-retired, Bob (general contractor) and JoAnn (cardiovascular research nurse). We have a newly remodeled four bedroom, three bath home in Alpine Meadows near Lake Tahoe with spectacular views of the mountains. There is 1 king bedroom, 2 queen bedrooms, and 1 bedroom with 4 single bunk beds, 3 bathrooms and a 4 car garage. There is a hot tub, satellite TV with TiVo, high speed internet with a computer to use, full kitchen, all linnen and bedding.
We are 1 mile from Alpine Meadows ski area, 3 miles from Squaw Valley, and within 1 hour of 6 more ski areas. We are 4 miles from Lake Tahoe. The winter brings tons of snow, and the summers are fantastic with average temps in the 70-80 F (21 - 25 C) range with warm days and clear cool nights. Hike or bike from the front door and only 4 miles to Lake Tahoe.
Fly into Reno, NV, which is about an hour's drive away, or Sacramento, CA, which is about a two hour's drive. A car may be avaliable depending on licensing and insurance.
