Melbourne has been designated one of the world’s most liveable cities. It is the renowned sporting capital of Australia - Flemington racecourse (spring racing carnival & Melbourne Cup) is a 10 min walk and the Rod Laver arena (Austalian Open) and MCG (cricket and football) are 20 mins via public transport from our home. Situated on the Yarra River and Port Phillip Bay, Melbourne is also famous for its many cosmopolitan restaurants, its theatre and cultural precincts and its beautiful parks and gardens.
Being the central hub for roads and transport Melbourne provides an excellent base for exploring the many attractions in Victoria including the Great Ocean Road, beaches, vineyards and national parks as well as the historical cities of Ballarat and Bendigo.
Although we have not exchanged homes previously we are open to eventualities including hospitality stays for shorter periods when it is not convenient for owners to be away - and of course reciprocating in that style if that is a preferred option for exchangees.
We also have a second home available for exchange, or as part of an exchange, at Coffs Harbour on the beautiful mid-north coast of New South Wales.
This is a 2 bedroom self contained apartment within a small complex that includes a pool. It is opposite the beach and walking distance to the local shopping centre and restaurants. Coffs Harbour, which is located between Sydney and Brisbane, is serviced by air from all major Australian cities.
