Fully equipped with flat-screen TV, broadband, cable TV, DVD, CD player and laundry facilities.The apartment is 15 minutes drive from the centre of Fort Lauderdale and from some of the best beaches in Florida, though there are also plenty of local amenities close by. Fort Lauderdale is a cosmopolitan city with excellent restaurants, theatres and shopping. It is centrally located to all major highways and attractions such as Disney World, the Kennedy Space Center, Miami and South Beach, the Florida Keys and the Everglades are all within easy reach.
Fort Lauderdale is a major cruise port and accessible by flights into Miami, Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach airports.
We are an early-retired, non-smoking couple - Peter (56) was a headteacher and Ian (60) was a company director. We also have a home in Poole in the UK, so non-simultaneous exchanges are possible.
We are keen travellers, open to offers worldwide or from other US states. We have a preference for Sydney, Australia for about 2 months in 2011, dates flexible. We will be visiting family in North Sydney.
