Our home is located in Santa
Rosa which is in the heart of
the Sonoma County wine region.
We are located on a hillside
with views of the Santa Rosa
Plain from the front and
Annadel State Park in the
rear. The house is filled with
light all day long and there
are beautiful views from every
window. The home has been
extensievly renovated within
the past 2 years. The gourmet
kitchen features granite
counters and is well stocked
for creating your wine country
feast. There are a gas
fireplace and a 46" flat
screen HDTV in the family
room. There is a gas barbeque
and eating area on the back
deck with open space and views
of the park as your backdrop.
The hot tub is constantly
heated for your relaxation and
enjoyment. There are road and
mountain bikes and a kayak
available for your use.
Generally we should be able to
leave a car for you to drive.Santa Rosa is a short drive to
numerous wineries in the
Sonoma Valley, Russian River,
Dry Creek Valley and Alexander
Valley wine regions. We live
adjacent to Annadel State Park
which has 5000 acres of
hiking, biking and horse
trails. The area is blessed
with great natural beauty with
rolling hills, oak trees and
redwood forests. The rugged
Sonoma Coast is 45 minutes by
car and San Francisco is one
hour away.
Mike and Viki are recently
retired professionals who
enjoy an active lifestyle
including running, swimming,
biking, kayaking hiking and
skiing. Our two adult
daughters live in the area if
you need assistance during
your stay. We do not have pets
and we prefer that there be no
smoking anywhere on the
property.
We have plans through April
2011 but are open to all
destinations after then so
please write with suggestions.
