My home is a two-bedroom, two-bath ground floor condo (1230 square feet), amenities include: 2 TV's (cable), DVD, internet, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer. The master bedroom is set up with queen size sofa-sleeper and functions as my office/den. The guest (or now master bedroom) has a queen size bed.

Carlsbad is a charming village with lots happening so there really isn’t a need to leave here, but if you want - Torrey Pines golf course is 20 minutes south and San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve is just down the road. San Diego is 30-40 minutes south with its many attractions: Balboa Park museums, gardens and exhibits, Old Town, Little Italy, Gas Lamp and Theater Districts, San Diego Zoo, Sea World and seaside villages of La Jolla and Coronado. Day trips could include Temecula Wineries, old Missions (San Diego, San Luis Rey and San Juan Capistrano are close by), Palm Springs and Indian casinos...

I will need my car so if you don’t drive you will want to rent a car.

No smoking ar pets.

I retired from local government, drastically downsized and remolded two years ago. Currently I am interest in short term exchanges as I really love it here.
