We are a retired couple who has traversed the globe over many years. Most recently, we traveled to South America for 3 weeks. We are looking to go to France, open to the location, primarily for the month of November (potentially up to 7 weeks, flexible on dates). Our granddaughter (26) is planning to take French lessons to improve her French, and would be coming with us. We are looking for a place that sleeps 3+ people. We do not smoke, and are very responsible and reliable. We may also be open to non-simultaneous exchanges over the month of November, as we may rent an apartment in France if we cannot trade. All the main amenities are on the first floor. The home is equipped with a sitting room, l iving room, dining room, kitchen with all new appliances, front and back porches. We also have an upstairs sitting area for television, cards, puzzles, etc. Our house is equipped with internet, phone, and cable, with unlimited long distance phone calls within the United States.
We live in Charbonneau, a safe, private upscale community in Wilsonville, Oregon (about 30 minutes south of Portland). The main draw of Charbonneau is its 27-holes of golf, of which our home is located on the 6th hole of the Yellow Course (one of the 3 9-hole courses). The back yard IS the golf course. The home is close to grocery stores, restaurants, movie theatres, parks, rivers, libraries, everything you would want. The area is also home to the fertile Willamette valley, and its many wineries.
