The main line station is minutes away with regular commuter trains to central London, a journey of about 40 minutes. Also we are close to motorway junction for driving to places of interest, London, Windsor Castle, the Solent, Portsmouth and the New Forest all within 40 to 60 minutes train ride or car ride.
The Solent is the UK’s premier sailing venue, Portsmouth is the UK’s main Naval Base and a fascinating museum, explore Nelson’s HMS Victory, and the New Forest is 144 sq. Miles of landscape originally preserved for hunting by William the Conqueror in 1079 (and still protected a 1,000 years later).
We are looking to exchange to the US but open to other suggestions.
Simultaneous exchanges not necessary as we have a second home in Spain were we spend several months a year.
We are both retired, Rita was Payroll and Pension Manager for a large UK company and I was a Civil Engineer and Property Manager. We are both non smokers.
