family room, kitchen,
two double bedrooms, two further
rooms disposed as studies for
ourselves, laundry, two bathrooms and
a double garage. We have a separate
large music room that would be
suitable for use as an extra guest
room if needed. One of our cars could be included in the exchange. The house is close to an excellent
shopping centre
and restaurants and is within easy
reach of the city centre, with its lively
artistic scene.
Adelaide offers a safe environment. Its
splendid beaches, delightful hills and
wine regions are easily accessed, and
with its international airport Adelaide
is centrally positioned for many
Australian tourist icons such as Uluru
(Ayers Rock) and the outback, the
Northern Territory, the Tasmanian
rainforests and Victoria’s historic
goldfields. South Australia itself has
many beautiful spots including the
unspoilt Flinders Ranges and Kangaroo
Island.
Adelaide is a pretty and easy city to
navigate, excellent for walking, bike
riding, all water sports and lovely
drives into the Hills, Barossa Valley and
Fleurieu Peninsular. The city centre can
be accessed relatively quickly either by
car or by public transport.
We would look after your home very
carefully and would be happy to tend
to your plants and garden.
Pets are not a problem as we love
them and would prefer non-smokers.
We have had several successful
exchanges and are now looking for an
opportunity to
exchange in UK between
December 2014 and January 2015.
Please make an offer as we are always
willing to explore all possibilities.
We are interested in exchanging within
the area of London.
We will answer all enquiries and are
happy to be surprised by any
destination that may fit our needs!
My name is Rodney and I'm a senior
lecturer in music at a nearby university
and my wife Celine is a retired head of
music at at a large Catholic international school a few minutes away.
We are very involved in the Arts/Music
scene in Adelaide and are equally interested in the world of creative arts.We are a party of two
and in January 2007 completed our
first home exchange which we found
very worthwhile and enjoyable. We
subsequently completed another
exchange in December 2009/January
2010, London 2012/13 and to New
Zealand in January
2011. We are looking to visiting
London and Europe again at the end of
2014. We are enthusiastic about travel
and meeting new people and would
treat your home as lovingly as we do
our own.
